Arnold Press (Dumbbell)
The Arnold Press with dumbbells is a dynamic shoulder exercise that targets the deltoids, specifically the anterior (front), medial (side), and posterior (rear) heads. To perform the exercise, start by holding a dumbbell in each hand at shoulder height with your palms facing towards you and your elbows bent. Begin the movement by rotating your palms away from your body as you press the dumbbells overhead. As you lift, continue rotating your palms until they are facing forward at the top of the movement. Reverse the motion on the way down, rotating your palms back towards you as you lower the dumbbells back to the starting position. The Arnold Press engages the shoulders through a full range of motion, promoting balanced muscle development and improving shoulder strength and stability.
